“And the winner is…Europa-Park!” The THEA Classic Award, one of the most honors of the American entertainment industry for extraordinary accomplishments and outstanding quality, goes to Germany’s largest amusement park. Michael Mack, executive at Europa-park, received the branch’s Creativity Award on April 6th in Anaheim, California. The “Themed Entertainment Association”(TEA) presented the THEA Awards for the 20th time this year.

Europa-Park is one of the world’s leading amusement parks. Both the wonderful design of the thirteen European themed sections of the park and its development into a popular short trip destination led the TEA committee to honor the park for its extraordinary achievements. This year the jury particularly emphasized the link between tradition and innovation.
